Is 'Check Availability' the same as booking instantly?
Not yet — it sends your travel dates and preferences straight to our booking desk, who will confirm availability, current pricing and next steps by phone, WhatsApp or email. We'd rather confirm details with a real person than show you availability we can't stand behind.
Your Stay
Rooms, comfort, and what day-to-day life at the camp is like.
Do all the rooms have air-conditioning?
No. Our Standard rooms are non-AC and fan-cooled, which suits Dandeli's climate for much of the year. Deluxe rooms and Premium cottages are air-conditioned. Choose based on season and preference.
What is mobile network and internet connectivity like?
Patchy, in the way most forest-edge locations are. Expect intermittent mobile signal and don't rely on it for work calls. This is part of the point for many of our guests — but if you need to stay reachable, let the booking desk know in advance so we can talk through what's realistic.
Wildlife & Activities
What to expect from sightings and the river.
Will we see a tiger, leopard, or other big wildlife?
There is no way to guarantee that, and we would rather be honest about it than promise something we can't deliver. Dandeli sits within the wider Kali Tiger Reserve landscape, home to an estimated population of large mammals including tigers, black panthers, and elephants — but sightings depend on season, weather, habitat use, patience and a good deal of chance. Many guests see deer, langurs, giant squirrels, and a wide range of birds; fewer see the rarer, larger species. Come for the forest itself, and treat any sighting as a bonus.
Is river rafting always available?
No — rafting and several water activities depend on the Kali River's current water level and release schedule, which is managed independently of the camp. Availability and run length can change with the season and with dam operations. We'll confirm what's realistic for your dates when you enquire.

What's the easiest way to reach the camp?
Most guests arrive by road, either self-driving or via a taxi from Hubballi, Goa, Belagavi or Karwar. Hubballi has the closest airport and best rail connections. See our Getting Here page for approximate distances and travel times from major cities.

Is this a good trip for young children?
It can be, if your family enjoys the outdoors more than a resort pool. There's uneven ground, forest sounds at night, and no organised kids' club — this is a place for families who want to introduce children to a forest, not entertain them indoors. How does pricing work for children?
Children under 5 stay at no additional charge. Children aged 5 to 12 are typically charged at 50% of the adult package rate. A single-occupancy surcharge applies if an adult books a twin-sharing room alone. Please confirm exact figures for your dates when you enquire, as these are reviewed periodically.
